Vladimir Potanin Foundation was places seventh in the list in terms of the budget size with a budget of 336.5 million rubles in 2014.

This year the Foundation received 419 applications from different Russian museums. The expert council selected winners in 18 nominations. In 2016, «Museums and Museum Community» nomination became the most popular category among Russian museum professionals, with almost 160 application received.

The Vladimir Potanin Foundation announced the results of the grant competition, which started in January 2014 in the framework of the Olympic Scholarships Program. The purpose of the program is to help future sports managers to get a quality professional education in the Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) in Sochi.

Another internship for designers of the projects, which had been brought to life as a result of a contest “A Changing Museum in a Changing World”, took place in Great Britain. Internships are organized by Vladimir Potanin Foundation and British Council and take place annually starting from 2006 in order to develop multicultural ties between Russia and Great Britain and to support creative research of Russian museum designers.

New CEO of Cinema Park Andrey Safronyuk, approved by the Board of Directors, will commence to his duties on January 15, 2014. He will replace Sergey Kitin, who decided to leave the company. Andrey Safronyuk comes fr om Vimpelkom group of companies, wh ere he was an operational director of Beeline in Uzbekistan. During these times the company has become the leading  communications provider and the leader in telecommunication field in the republic.
