At the sixth annual Russian Pharma Awards 2017, Polyoxidonium, a Russian combination product that is an immunomodulator, detoxifier, and antioxidant, took the prize for «Product of choice for treating and preventing acute viral respiratory infection in children».
Boehringer Ingelheim has concluded phase one of their localization effort aimed at manufacturing their innovative thrombolytic medicines in Russia: the first batches of Metalyse (tenectaplase) for acute heart attack treatment were produced at NPO Petrovax Pharm facilities.
Researchers compared the 300 most affluent business people and upper-level managers in the largest companies in Russia, both state-owned and private. The ranking was compiled based on the number of mentions in Russia’s main media outlets between January 1 and December 31, 2016; additionally, researchers analyzed print material from 100 leading foreign newspapers and magazines. Both Forbes and the readers selected Vladimir Potanin as an Entrepreneur with a track record of achievement in large-scale projects that benefit society.
By the end of 2019, the companies intend to complete the transfer of technologies and to launch full-cycle production of innovative thrombolytic medicines at Petrovax Pharm’s production facility in the Moscow Region.
The “KOLLEKTSIA! CONTEMPORARY ART IN THE URSS AND RUSSIA 1950-2000. A MAJOR DONATION” exhibition opened at the Pompidou Center on September 13, 2016. A collection of Russian art of the second half of the20th century, unprecedented in scope, was initiated by and assembled with the active participation of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation, and in close cooperation with philanthropists, art collectors, and artists. Under a joint project of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation and the Pompidou Center, the Center became the owner of one of the best collections of Russian and Soviet modern art for the period from 1950 to 2000.
