Over many years the Foundation has made its primary mission to assist in the development of philanthropy in Russia — to foster an environment where creativity, professionalism and volunteerism are held in high regard.
The Foundation — one of the first private foundations in modern Russia — supports gifted intellectuals who are able to grow personally and are ready to help others. The Foundation runs long-term grant and scholarship programs for gifted students and faculty members from leading public and private universities, museum personnel, sports professionals, and experts in the creation and development of endowment funds.

«It is one of the very first foundations in Russia, it is creative, it experiments a great deal, and it gets a lot right» — says Jim Litvin, the Managing Director of Partners for Change. According to Mr. Litvin, the Foundation’s values are in line with the seven principles of conscious leadership: courage, candidness, cooperation, community, creativity, capital and compassion

Last year the Foundation embarked on the implementation of the new museums program strategy, which had been announced in 2014. Museum Guide and Museum Bridges, two new programs, were put in place, the existing programs were renewed, and new categories added to the «A Changing Museum in a Changing World» competition.
