August 2, 2010 vice-president and chairman of the Interros board Andrey Klishas is appointed to the position of the president of Norilsk Nickel.

As the president Andrey Klishas will be responsible for the development and implementation of the corporate strategy of the company, improvement of corporate governance, and for the activities aimed at the growth of MMC market capitalization. Furthermore, the president will oversee any potential merger & acquisition transactions.
