Rosa Khutor was named Russia's Best Ski Resort  for the eighth time.

The common take-away was that «to become nature lovers, people need to have access to nature». Thus, the number one task is to create a legislative framework, currently all but non-existent.

The second conference will focus on specific ways to grow sustainable tourism in different climates. Russia is a very large country, and every part of it is unique, which must inevitably be taken into account when launching tourism projects. We created five booths to represent various climate zones of Russia – the Arctic, the Russian North, the Temperate Zone, South and East — where Russian and foreign participants will be able to discuss issues, and share best practices and insights.

D-line ropeway, a first in Russia, will be built at the Rosa Khutor Resort in Sochi in time for the 2019-2020 ski season, announced Austrian Doppelmayr’s press-service.
