Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper compiled a social responsibility ranking of Russian billionaires and the corporations they lead. Vladimir Potanin is ranked at the top with a wide margin from everyone who actively joined the fight against the epidemic.

The common take-away was that «to become nature lovers, people need to have access to nature». Thus, the number one task is to create a legislative framework, currently all but non-existent.

The second conference will focus on specific ways to grow sustainable tourism in different climates. Russia is a very large country, and every part of it is unique, which must inevitably be taken into account when launching tourism projects. We created five booths to represent various climate zones of Russia – the Arctic, the Russian North, the Temperate Zone, South and East — where Russian and foreign participants will be able to discuss issues, and share best practices and insights.

Vladimir Potanin spoke at the celebration marking the 20th anniversary of his Foundation. He outlined his vision for the future of the Foundation and explained what parameters he uses to evaluate its work. He believes that charitable work has to take into account feedback: social needs and demands.
