According to Rosa Khutor CEO Sergey Bachin,

«in 2015 winter season, Rosa Khutor hosted 600 thousand tourists and 750 thousand in summer season, this gives us a total of 1.35 mln guests in 2015. In 2016 winter season, the number of visitors reached 800 thousand, it’s a 30% increase compared to the previous winter season. We expect that in 2016 the total number of tourists will reach 1.5 mln».

«Next year we intend to add 20 km of new pistes and three powerful ski lifts, which will eliminate bottlenecks. Even if the number of visitors increases by 30% in the next year, they won’t wait in lines»

The construction of new ski lifts will practically double the resort’s capacity. In future, the total length of slopes will be extended to 100 km.
